چکیده
Background:Molecular biology and human medical genetics have introduced several novel biomarkers giving control over vital body functions, of these are transcriptional factors known as peroxisome proliferator activated- receptors “PPARs”. The aim this review is to shed light on available online information published research works about biomarkers. current will try display those findings mainly related energy homeostasis, glucose metabolism, insulin sensitivity some cardiovascular interactions. Methods:a literature their roles in controlling functions has been made recorded. Search covered investigations the last three decades accessible. Results: crucial a big deal biological processes humans. Conclusions: Peroxisome proliferator-activated important with clinical impacts. Literature shows wide spectrum effects interactions through affecting many genes involved balance, peripheral sensitization addition interfering inflammation, angiogenesis, blood pressure atherosclerosis.

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors and cardiovascular remodeling.
Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) are nuclear receptors that heterodimerize with the retinoid X receptor and then modulate the function of many target genes. Three PPARs are known: alpha, beta/delta, and gamma. The better known are PPAR-alpha and PPAR-gamma, which may be activated by different synthetic agonists, although the endogenous ligands are unknown. PPAR-alpha is invol...
متن کاملPeroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptors and Lipoprotein Metabolism
Plasma lipoproteins are responsible for carrying triglycerides and cholesterol in the blood and ensuring their delivery to target organs. Regulation of lipoprotein metabolism takes place at numerous levels including via changes in gene transcription. An important group of transcription factors that mediates the effect of dietary fatty acids and certain drugs on plasma lipoproteins are the perox...
متن کاملDownregulation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) in nasal polyposis
BACKGROUND Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) alpha, betadelta and gamma are nuclear receptors activated by fatty acid metabolites. An anti-inflammatory role for these receptors in airway inflammation has been suggested. METHODS Nasal biopsies were obtained from 10 healthy volunteers and 10 patients with symptomatic allergic rhinitis. Nasal polyps were obtained from 22 patients...
متن کاملPeroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptors (PPARs): Choreographers of Metabolic Gene Transcription
Nuclear receptors are ligand-activated transcription factors that regulate gene expression in response to small lipophilic compounds such as testosterone [androgen receptor (AR)], oxysterols [liver X receptor (LXR)], estrogen (ER), xenobiotics [pregnane X receptor (PXR)], retinoic acid (RAR), thyroid hormone (TR), bile acids [farnesoid X receptor (FXR)] and vitamin D (VDR). The peroxisome proli...
متن کاملPivotal Roles of Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptors (PPARs) and Their Signal Cascade for Cellular and Whole-Body Energy Homeostasis.
Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs), members of the nuclear receptor superfamily, are important in whole-body energy metabolism. PPARs are classified into three isoforms, namely, PPARα, β/δ, and γ. They are collectively involved in fatty acid oxidation, as well as glucose and lipid metabolism throughout the body. Importantly, the three isoforms of PPARs have complementary and di...
